Where Saturday Went

Greetings!

Joy doesn't quite like the way black hair looks on her so we went out on Saturday to pick up a hair dye. We were stuck between a few choices at the drugstore when suddenly Cindy remembered that our local Asian supermarket has this amazing Japanese brand, Palty. I do believe she's used it a few times and really recommends it.

(As usual) Cindy turned out to be a pro: the moment we got back to Joy's house, Cindy ripped the box open, poured, mixed, shook... the whole nine yards! I pretty much just stood around and took pictures. Actually, in the end, I mixed 2/3 boxes we used. (So if I can do it, you can too.)

I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to say this, but Asian packaging is so darn cute! Everything is pink and adorable -_-. Now to save you some time, I'm going to just link you to a little mini tutorial I made on how to use Palty here. Like I said, if I can do it, you can too. 

I have to admit, Joy looks really different! I think black hair looks fine on her but with the reddish-brown, she looks absolutely amazing. I don't know if you can tell but we'll try to post a picture of it under the light next time! (Pics from my phone with some Cindy on the side~)

While we were at the supermarket, we snuck over to a few other stores in the mall including Sephora, J. Crew, Forever XXI, and Zara. I just want to put it out there that I walked into Sephora with no intention to shop but somehow came out with the Sultra Hair Palette Hair Mascara.

I really like the look of faded pastel streaks/ombre and I've been looking around for a temporary way of achieving that without extensions.

ALSO! Just to throw it out there, Joy is looking to sell her Dr. Martens. She ordered them online but they turned out to be too big for her. They're a gorgeous pair of new and unused cherry red boots in size 38 (UK). If you want more info on it, tweet her. 

I'm still trying to figure out a good way to take/edit photos. I'm really just playing around with everything these days, but I really hope I can come up with something worthy! I can't wait until spring/summer rolls around and the sun stays out for a little longer-- this really wouldn't be problem if it wasn't for the fact that the three of us all wake up really late on weekends. I even pulled out stacks of old magazines for some photo inspiration, so I'm excited to put a little more time into this!~

Both Joy and Cindy bought some amazing pieces on Saturday, so I hope that they can post some pictures of it later on or feature them in future looks. I won't ruin the surprise for now. 

Okay I will ruin one for you because I just have to brag about this. Joy had her eye on this jacket for a while now at Forever XXI and it was actually on sale yesterday! It looks soooooo cute on her! Who could guess that it was barely over $20?

Three is Company

Hello, my name is Joy and along with me in the picture is my adorable baby, Monkey (the star of the show). He is absolutely the cutest thing ever! Gosh, I really have no idea where to start with the introduction. 

Firstly, let me just say, I have never been good with consistency. I am super fond of change and new ideas seem to always grab my attention. Maybe that is why I enjoy fashion so much. There is always so much variety in the ever changing trends for me to goggle at to satisfy my short attention span. Hopefully, with this awesome blog I am starting with 2 of my most FAB friends, we can display our many perspectives and showcase the inspirations we gained from many many stylish individuals from all round the globe in our outfits!

Hi there! My name is Cindy and currently a university student along with two of my most amazing friends and fellow owners of Suit of Three (SO3), Joy and Kristine.

I've known Joy for about half my life now and ever since we were kids, I've admired her unique sense of style. I met Kristine in beginning of high school and we bonded over our impatience for computer programming that later flourished into a fabulous friendship (she also ditched me in that class).

Uni brought us all together again and although we've each developed our own taste in style, we all share a love for blogging. Through SO3, we hope we can showcase our inspirations for not only fashion, but things from our every day life that shaped our personalities to who we are today.

Greetings! My name is Kristine but because this is the internet, feel free to call me "Kris". Honestly, only one person really calls me that in person. Thanks for stumbling upon our corner of the world wide web! Self intros are a little awkward because I feel like the people who actually visit the blog will be people who already know me. So what do I say that I won't be called out for?

Most of the photos, edits, and web design stuff will be from me because that's pretty much all I can decently contribute. I'm not very fashionable or cute like the other two (I know they'll probably say nice things about each other so I'm going to put that in there as a disclaimer). I stick to the technical things. If you go to the individual pages on the menu, you'll see more about the each of us (that I wrote, so don't blame them for the lame and awkward blurbs).
